Sussex Correspondence Chess Report by John Dodgson (Team Captain)

The Ward-Higgs team size was reduced from 26 to 22 players this year, so to accommodate those pushed off the

bottom boards we fielded a ten-man team in the Brown-Pond.

Ward-Higgs: 1st Yorkshire 15/22, 2nd Warks 14, 3rd Sussex 13½ and 4th Essex 13; twelve teams participated.

Brown-Pond: 1st Essex 8/10; ... Sussex 5½/10.
